“Out at Sea,” written by Sławomir Mrożek, is a multilayered and profoundly deep play. Through satire and comedy, Mrożek portrays the harsh realities of a society trapped under dictatorship, setting the story in a timeless, placeless void.
It depicts an eternal and endless state of confusion and disorientation, reminiscent of the conditions prevailing in authoritarian regimes. Throughout the performance, the audience smiles, yet the unfolding situation—culminating in the play’s striking finale—leaves them in deep contemplation for days. It forces them to realize how a dictator can seize control over every aspect of human life and paralyze an entire society.
Out at Sea is a must-watch—because, in one way or another, it reflects the reality of us all.

مخاطب در هر لحظه نمایش لبخند بر لب دارد ولی موقعیتی که تماشا میکند پس از نهیب پایانی نمایش باعث میشود چندین روز او را در تفکر عمیق فرو ببرد و متوجه شود که چطور یک دیکتاتور میتواند بر همه چیز انسانها تسلط یابد و جامعه ای را فلج کند.
بر پهنه دریا را تماشا کنید،چرا که وصف حال تک تک ماست.
